<p style="text-align: left;">If our Sleep is lacking, we should start searching for the root cause during that specific day by investigating our inside, our behavior, and emotions. But first, we need to understand better what <strong>“I am”</strong>. We have to recognize ourselves as multi-parted beings. &#8220;<strong>I am</strong> <strong>Spirit</strong>, <strong>Mind</strong>, <strong>Body</strong>, and <strong>Ego&#8221;</strong>. And each of these parts that let me be a human being need to be taken care of in its supposed way. We can not just live our life by following our Ego and taking care of our bodies. We will want to clear our minds from unpleasant thoughts, and step by step, get closer to consciously feeling our higher spirit within.</p></div>

<p style="text-align: left;">When the sun sets, and we want to rest, our lived day will be significant for our inner-satisfaction and the quality of our Sleep. This day, we chose ourselves or at least accepted it by simply letting it happen. If we really want to make a change to the life we experience and improve our Sleep, the following central questions can help us gain awareness if we are willing, honest and self-critical to ourselves:</p>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><strong>Did I follow a self-determined occupation, which gave me pleasure?</strong></li>
<li><strong>Which influences and attractions did I expose myself to?</strong></li>
<li><strong>Which emotions did I carry inside of me?</strong></li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">Besides our basic needs and daily routine, it is our self-awareness, and the steps we make in developing our consciousness towards a purer and wiser one, that will lead us into the pathway of unconditional satisfaction and peaceful sleep. Consider these questions to help you realize where improvements can be made:</p>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><strong>Did I, through self-recognition and self-awareness, stimulate and improve my own consciousness?</strong></li>
<li><strong>Did I stand by my inner-truth, as I was put to the test?</strong></li>
<li><strong>Did I find recovery in stillness and out of my inner-source?</strong></li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: left;">
<p style="text-align: left;">All other actions we take that arise from our lower desires and imaginations can be completely meaningless when we need deep-rest, unconditional satisfaction, and revitalizing Sleep.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Life primarily is about improving our consciousness, gaining self-knowledge through self-awareness, and bringing all of this into expression. We can then find out ourselves by investigating our actions, thoughts, beliefs, and emotions, which voice inside of us we mainly follow. Are we in a healthy balance? Am I in my personal balance that is right for me? Do I treat my Mind and Body well? Am I strong enough to recognize my Egos voice and deny it? Do I use self-awareness to develop my mind towards a more pure and kind one, which lets me feel unconditional satisfaction through my higher spirit – my true self? </p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Which emotions did I carry inside of me?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">How often do I feel angry, disappointed, sad, lonely, or aggressive inside? Am I joyful, free, happy, and satisfied? Where do my positive emotions come from?</p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Did I, through self-recognition and self-awareness, stimulate and improve my own consciousness?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Do I detect negative, fearful thoughts inside me and change my perspective towards a positive and peaceful one, by denying these adverse thought patterns? Do I ask my higher spirit within to support me in doing so? <em><strong>Do I know that my higher spirit is just waiting for me to do exactly this?</strong></em></p>

<ul>
<li style="text-align: left;">Go to bed when you are <strong>sleepy</strong>. Not before, only because you think it is time to go to bed.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Find and stick to a healthy sleeping routine &#8211; same hours.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Find the <strong>right amount</strong> of sleep for you. Some people are fine with 5-7 hours, and others need 6–8 or even 8-10 hours. Albert Einstein reportedly slept for at least 10 hours/day.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">If you can’t sleep, <strong>do something</strong> different and more mindless, read a book, go for a walk, try meditating, sing some songs, do housework, but don’t force yourself to sleep.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Don’t take your cell phone to bed with you. Choose <strong>flight mode</strong> more often.</li>

<li style="text-align: left;">Find the <strong>best spot</strong> in your room to put up your bed, facing the outside, or open space, away from other people in the house. Avoid sleeping head to head with other people in your home or the same building, like in a hotel.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Make your bed every day yourself, so it is <strong>comfortable</strong>, <strong>clean</strong>, and looks <strong>inviting</strong>.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Don’t expose yourself to bright light the last 2 hours before you go to bed. Instead, <strong>dim your lights</strong> and do something calming.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><strong>Watch your nutrition</strong>. Don’t consume caffeine, alcohol, sugar, or high fructose corn syrup in the last 4 hours before you go to bed.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;"><strong>Don’t overload</strong> yourself with information. Your mind will work on it.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">A hot shower or physical exercise before you go to bed can be relaxing for one. For another, it will stimulate blood circulation and increase adrenalin, which will make you even more awake. <strong>Find out what type you are</strong>.</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: left;">But this is only half the truth, and you will only be able to tell if you try and search for the truth yourself.
